Potty training!

For the last week or two I have been really potty
training Maddison. She has gone potty randomly for a long
time now but I decided it was time to buckle down
and get her really going on the potty.

I bought pull ups mostly so it was easier on me,
so I didn't have to lay her down and secure the diaper
every time she went potty.
She thinks it's so fun to go on the potty and
she really likes the jelly bean reward!
If she goes #1 she tells me 'I get one candies!'
If she goes #2 she says 'I get two candies!'

She picked up the process pretty much on the first day.
By the second day she was telling me when she
had to go rather than me asking her constantly
like I did on day one.
On the second day we only used one pull up the whole day!
She is even telling me she has to go potty when
we are out running errands and going in public
bathrooms, which I thought would take longer
because I thought they would be intimidating.

I can't believe what a big girl she is becoming!
(sorry the picture isn't too good, it's from my phone)

lunch fun!

Saturday afternoon Sarah, Maddie, my mom, aunt and I
all went to Pete's fish and chips for lunch.
There is a grassy area next to all the tables
and Maddison sure took advantage of it.
These are pics of her running around a tree. lol
I love it when she wears herself out!

She also rode the car and had a blast driving it.
She was turning the wheel the whole time it was on.
I think she probably rode it 3 or 4 times,
she couldn't get enough.

feeding Sarah's turtles

Maddison LOVES Sarah's turtles.
Every time we go over there she wants to feed them.
Sarah put them in this little container to feed
them so Maddie could see them better.
I'm not too sure what face she is making here. lol

hole in the rock

Last Monday we decided to go to hole in the rock at Papago Park.
I guess I was feeling extra adventurous trying that at 31 weeks pregnant.
I couldn't see my feet, which made it very interesting. lol

Would have been a cute picture if it wasn't so bright!
They are both squinting so bad.
(Maddie is wearing the cute new RocketDog shoes I got her,
I love them! I have a pair and they are so comfy!)

I made it all the way up!
Surprisingly down was worse than up.
Every step down it felt like my uterus was
going to fall out!
Matt had to carry Maddie and hold my hand
all the way down so I wouldn't fall! lol

We told Maddie we were 'hiking' and she thought it
was fun to say that word. I was just hoping that she
wouldn't remember the word and ask to
go hiking later!

baby clothes!

I finally got all the baby clothes washed and hung up in her closet.
It's so weird, I don't remember Maddison being that tiny but
a lot of those clothes are hers. They are so small!
I am glad to finally have that chore done...
now I just need a baby to put in all the clothes. lol

This baby has so many clothes, in this picture
hanging up is just the newborn to 3 month sizes!
Unfortunately though she has half the closet space as Maddie.

*hiccup* excuse me

We taught Maddison to say excuse me when she burps or farts lol. She even says excuse me when other people do one of them. So tonight I made Maddison laugh really hard and she got the hiccups. In between hiccups she said EXCUSE ME! LOL We never taught her that she just assumed that a hiccup was the same as a burp I guess.
*hiccup* excuse me *hiccup* excuse me *hiccup* excuse me... this went on for over a minute. SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!

Halloween!!!

On Halloween we went trick or treating with Sarah and Brooklyn.
Maddison was the cutest little bumble bee!
Brooklyn was a princess.
Maddison did so good.
She said 'trick or treat', 'thank you' and 'buh bye'
at almost every house and at a couple houses
she even buzzed for the people. lol
She carried her hello kitty bag and I
found her the cutest little pink shoes that
happened to match really well.
(i also got a matching pair for baby #2! SO CUTE)
I didn't think until we were already out that
I should have put little pink bows on the
antennas of her costume!

Eating her candy!

making goofy faces as usual.
I can't get a good picture out of this kid to save my life.

Her bag and matching shoes. lol
I actually didn't plan this, it worked out well though.
I bought these shoes a few days ago and she LOVES them.
She wants to wear them constantly.

Fake smile again. lol

Trick or treating with Brooklyn.
I am so glad Maddison is a good hand holder and
doesn't try and run off. That will come in handy
when baby # 2 comes!

Her cute little wings.
