Reagan's 1st birthday!!!

On Saturday we had Reagan's 1st birthday party.

I think Maddison had more fun than she did though,

she was a little reserved because there were so

many people at gramy and grampys house.

My mom made the girls matching cupcake

outfits. They were so cute!

I think she was intimidated by it.

With little cupcakes she shoves it all in

her mouth. She ate this one slower.

At the end she ate a lot slower and started

leaning back. I think she was full!

She ate about half the cake. lol

After cake they took a ride in the wagon

gramy and grampy got her.

Friday at the zoo

On Reagans birthday we headed to the zoo again. lol

It was about 75 degrees out and such a nice day.

We saw animals out that we hadn't actually ever

seen before, they were all out enjoying the day.

My pretty birthday girl in her new carseat that

Aunt Sarah got her. She likes it SO MUCH

more than the infant seat.

She was very cautious.

Then moved away from its head and liked it more

haha smart girl.

The pedal boats were open and Matt finally tried it.

He has wanted to go on them forever.

Reagan was too little to go so Matt took Maddie.

Reagan ran around the deck and explored

while they were on the boat.

I wanted to let Maddie ride the camel again because

she loved it to much last trip.

This camels name was Dale and she had just

as much time as she did before.

One of Matt's days off we headed over to

the awesome park by Sarahs house.

He hadn't been there yet and the girls love it.

Reagan loves sliding.

She has a concerned look on her face

as she slides down and then once she

stops she giggles and points to do it again.

Matt raced Maddie down the double slide. He won...lol

He taught her how to climb this thing.

Maddison learned this trick from her

friend Alexis. She uses her foot to slow her down.

Again, hates to walk on anything she

Birthday dinner

Last Sunday after the zoo we dropped

Maddison off at my parents house so she

could help my mom bake for by birthday dinner.

They made me cupcakes :)

Aquarium!

On my birthday we took a trip to the new aquarium

at Az Mills Mall.

There was no flash photography so I didn't

get many great pictures.

This tank was the largest and Matts favorite

because it had the biggest sharks in it.

There was a deck with a clear floor above

the sting ray tank.

Maddie did NOT want to stand on it.

She hates standing on anything that she can

see through.

She would go up to every tank and stare

in like she knew what she was looking for.

At the very end was the tank with Dory and Nemo.

Maddison was SO EXCITED.

Finding Nemo is by far her favorite movie.

The morning after zoolights we got up

and headed back to the zoo.

We didn't have anything to do that day so

we went just to get out of the house.

Reagan saying holy moly there's a giraffe.

We decided we would finally try a camel ride.
I have wanted to have Maddie do it for awhile but
I was sure that she wouldn't want to do it by herself.
Well...I was wrong.
She LOVED it.
She rode all by herself, was waving
and even bent over and tried to pet him.
I couldn't believe it went so well!

Zoolights!

I have so many pictures to blog.

In the last 3.5 weeks Matt has gone to

work about 6 days. He took some sick time

and then took some vacation time.

We did a lot of things while he was off.

On the 8th we went to zoolights because

we wanted to get there before it was over.

We went the night before the last

night it was open even though it was

a Saturday because we thought the

last night would be the busiest.

Well it was still VERY busy!

We hadn't ever been before and

the girls really liked it.

I put them in flannel PJ's because I figured

it would be the warmest...but they looked

like bums. lol

I still haven't figured out the camera settings.

This was a cute picture of them even

though the lights made it all crazy.

We got Maddison a light stick thing on the

way in and Reagan ended up LOVING it

and we had to get her one too on the

way out.

Christmas eve

On Christmas eve we went over to my

parents house. I had planned on getting

a lot of pictures but I got so into watching

the kids open their presents I forgot to take

pictures...haha. But I figured it's better that

I enjoyed it with them than get a bunch of pictures.

It's funny because Reagan liked all of

Maddisons presents more than her own

and vice versa. Silly kids!
