Cabrillo National Monument

We wanted to go to the tide pools at the Cabrillo
National Monument but the park closed at 4 and
the tide didnt go out until 7 :(
At least the scenery was beautiful...

When I planned this activity I was unaware of the huge cliffs and strong winds.  It was too scary with two small children to stay too long. Wish we could have seen some tide pools though...

Balboa Park

We went to walk around Balboa Park and Reagan
LOVED the clock tower.  She thought it was a castle
and kept asking to go see the princess. LOL
Reagan couldn't keep up with her little legs. lol

its too sunny mom!

I took a pic of the "princess castle" for Reagan

San Diego trip! Beach fun!!

first play on the beach

Dad tried to hold on to both of them....

But Reagan was not having it

Maddison liked playing in the sand a lot more than Reagan did

building sand castles with dad

burring maddie

cutest picture!

Tooth fairy!

Two days before her 5th birthday Maddison lost her first tooth!
About a week before she was eating her lunch and started freaking out and yelling that something is wrong with her tooth. I explained that it was normal for baby teeth to get loose and fall out and that the tooth fairy could come as soon as it actually fell out.
It fell out when she was eating laffy taffy. It was simple and painless and I will definitely buy laffy taffy every time she has a loose tooth!

Sarah's nursery wall

This is the wall I did for Sarah's nursery. I love it so much! I want one too. It took 5 evenings I think and the girls were so good. They were in the room with Sarah and I the whole time and there was only one finger put in paint. Lol

The girls wore their jerseys for the Coyotes first playoff game. They looked so cute and the Coyotes won!

Reagan in her boat

Anytime there is an empty laundry basket Reagan is in it.
I ask her if she is in a boat and she says yes. lol

afternoon at grammy and grampy's

Coloring on the chalkboard

Refreshments. They love the drinks they get at grammy's house because they usually only get water and milk at home.

she loves throwing the ball!

So proud of herself

Maddison squared

Last weekend we took the girls to play with their new friend also named Madison.
I must say that I almost wish I had named my kids the same name because
1)You don't have to think about who you're talking to,
only one name to remember.
2) when you want to take a picture you only have to
say one name and they both look! lol

Aunt Whitni, and Maddisons sliding

She did so well going down all the slides by herself

Maddie's baby shower

Ever since Maddie found out that Sarah had a baby in her belly
she has been acting like she has one in her tummy too.
She has heard me talking about Sarah's baby shower so
now, obviously, Maddison is having baby showers too. lol
Showing me her baby belly.  (please excuse the unbrushed morning hair) lol

M and R are cooking the food for the baby shower.

They then used her bed as a table to eat all the food they prepared.

baby goats!

Our family friends had another batch, I guess you would call it,
of baby goats. One of the mama goats wasn't feeding her babies
so they were being bottle fed. When I heard that I had to take
the girls out to feed them! SOOOO CUTE!
Reagan getting acquainted with one of the goats

"hey goat, nice rock pile"

"hey goat, How 'bout a kissy?"

She fed the goat something and then clapped and laughed

Grammy showing her how to hold the bottle

Maddison was really good at feeding them. They are so aggressive Reagan had a hard time hold on tight enough.

She loved it

The goats drank the bottles so fast! They got to feed them 3 bottles each.

rollerblades!

My mom got Maddison some princess training inline skates for Christmas.
She also got her all the safety gear but I kept forgetting the
safety stuff every time I went over to their house.
So Maddison didn't get to skate until February. LOL. Woops.

She was SOOOO excited!

Her "skating" was more like walking with skates on. lol.
But she had a blast and that's what counts!

She even did a little skate walking unassisted.

She went down the drive by herself because of the downward angle and then had dad help her skate back up.

There were a couple spills, but the knee pads worked like a charm.

She's a happy camper :)
