Here she is!!!!

Our baby girl Reagan Mackenzie was born Jan. 14th at 12:52 pm.
She weighed in at 9 lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.
(no that's not an error in typing, she really was almost 10lbs!)

Waiting for surgery while we were being monitored.

She looks exactly like Maddison!

Look at all the rolls!

first family picture...kind of

weighing in. lol. I still can't believe how big she is!

With my mom

her very excited aunt Sarah

happy daddy

aunt Katie

Great aunt Theresa and great uncle David

with my dad
I had to get a bow on her...
with a hat lol. I'm starting a new trend. J/k!

She is so soft and squishy you can't help but kiss her all the time

more baby kisses

Finally going home!

took her home in the same outfit as Maddison wore home

Look at all the ROLLS!!!! So funny
She has SO MUCH more hair than Maddison did.
I am crossing my fingers it doesn't fall out.
Maddison was SO EXCITED to hold her!

hanging out with daddy on the couch

relaxing in her boppy
This thing is so handy, I wish I had it when
Maddie was a baby.
Thanks Lindsey!!!!

this snuggle wrap thing is awesome!
She loves her swing too which is good because
Maddison didn't really like it.

the morning after we brought her home.
The second Maddison woke up she wanted to hold sister.
She is so good with her. She puts her binky back in for her,
she helps feed her, she watches intently when we change her diaper/clothes.
She wants to do everything! It is so cute.

(oh and p.s. Maddie always looks drunk in the morning! LOL
She gets that from me, we are NOT morning people!)

TOMORROW

Well tomorrow is the big day! If there are no emergency c-sections I should be ready to go at 12:30 p.m. I am glad that I know what to expect this time and I am not extremely nervous like I was with Maddison. The only thing I can really think about is that I wont be able to see Maddie for 48 hours and that is REALLY going to suck.
Tonight at dinner she was sitting next to me hugging me and saying 'this is my momma' and I told Matt that I wished I could keep Maddison in the hospital with me for 2 days and he could stay at home with the baby. lol
During the day Maddie is going to stay with Matt's mom and Matt will be with me and then at night Matt will go home with Maddie and Sarah and/or my mom will come stay with me. I'm hoping this all works out well and Maddison does ok. She loves spending time with grandma so she probably wont even notice I am gone.
I am assuming that the hospital has wi-fi so I am taking the laptop. Hopefully I can get some pictures up on here while I am just sitting there for 2 days!

Finished projects!

This is one if the blankets I have been crocheting for awhile now.
I am finally done! I have one more to do for the baby and one that
I started for the baby I have decided to make into a full
sized blanket so that will take a lot longer.

This is my first sewing project.
I love it!
I want to make one like this for our bed.
I wish fabric wasn't so expensive!
My mom got some patterns for cute clothes for Maddie so
I am excited to get back to sewing when I no longer have
this huge uncomfortable belly that makes even breathing hard.

My Birthday!

The pretty flowers Matt had waiting for me when
I came home from getting my nails and pedicure done!
He unwrapped and arranged them himself,
I am pretty proud of him.

Tonight Matt, Maddison, Sarah and I
went over to my parents for dinner.

Grandma took Maddison to buy me some balloons.
Maddison wanted to get me the Spiderman balloons,
but thankfully my mom talked her into a Pooh balloon. lol
My mom also helped her make me a card and she
helped bake my birthday cake!
I felt special! :)

Maddison has tons 'o fun playing with them.
She stands in the middle of them and violently swings
her arms in every direction and laughs. It's funny.

cute mommy and me picture

and another...

4 days before delivery!

My SUPER SWEET new sewing machine my
parents got me for my birthday!
I almost wish I wasn't having the baby so soon so I could
get some sewing in.
Sarah also got me a gift card to Joann's Fabrics so
I really want to start making something ASAP!

Our first kite flying experience

I bought a kite a few months ago and have been waiting
so patiently for a windy day that Matt has off work.
Today was that day!

This kite was made out of recycled oreo cookie
wrappers so of course Maddison liked it.
Unfortunately oreo cookie wrappers don't make
a very good kite and Matt could barely keep it in the air.

He got one good fly out of it, but it was too short
for Maddison to be able to hold it.

So we went to the store and bought 2 new ones
because we really wanted to give Maddie a chance to fly one.

She helped daddy with his Toy Story kite...
And then I got her Little Mermaid kite out for her.
She loved it and surprisingly the kite was
pretty self-sufficient and Maddie just had to hold on.

It was so cute to watch her stand there with the kite!

Then when everything was going so well Matt's kite
started flying crazy and crossed strings with Maddison's.
It pulled Maddison's kite out of her hands and sent it
flying into a tree. I was holding onto Matt's kite while
he went to get hers and the wind pulled his out of my hands!
His flew in a tree, got stuck and kept flying! LOL

So if you happen to drive by Riverview park and
see a kite flying itself, it was ours. LOL
You can barely see it in this pic...

AWESOME new car seat cover

I saw a car seat cover like this on the internet selling for $85
and thought it was ridiculous so I asked my mom to make me one.
It turned out SO GOOD and I absolutely LOVE IT!
I can't wait to put a cute little baby in it!

sewing with grandma

Today I had my mom finish up some binky holders
for me with her sewing machine and Maddison helped.
(I really need to get a sewing machine!)
She sat there on my moms lap and watched so patiently.

She was concentrating so hard like she was actually
trying to learn how to do it. lol

baby powder EVERYWHERE!

Thursday I walk into the babies room and see Maddison
standing there with a 'I don't know how this happened'
look on her face and she was COVERED in powder.
I started laughing hysterically and couldn't stop.
I called Matt in and we were both laughing so hard
we could barely tell her she wasn't supposed to be
playing in sisters room.
She had even put the powder back, I guess hoping that
we wouldn't notice she was playing with it? LOL

She knew she wasn't supposed to be doing that
and immediately started crying.
Her new baby was covered too.

There was literally baby powder on everything.
The crib, stroller, swing, baby glider, gliding chair,
dresser and changing table had all been sprinkled.
LOL

Maddison's new BFF

My parents got a new German Shepard a month or so ago
named Murphy and Maddison LOVES HIM!
She hugs him, and then he starts licking her and then she
runs and tries to get away, over and over.
It is funny and super cute!

Giving Murphy kisses

Petting him very nice

CHRISTMAS 2009!!!

Christmas Eve we went to celebrate with my family.
Maddison passed out all of the presents to everyone
and she had a ton of fun opening hers.
She also loved that everyone sat and watched
her open all of her presents. lol

Starting to open presents in my childhood rocking chair

books

a flying pig that oinks...its hilarious

clothes

a lot of clothes

new movies!
She got an Elmo one that she LOVES!
ROCKING HORSE that makes
galloping and horse sounds!
At first she thought it was just a big stuffed horse
and she was petting it and giving it hugs...
then we showed her she could ride it and she
was VERY excited! LOL

A TRICYCLE!
Matt rolled it in the room and Maddison screamed
"A BIKE!"
It was so funny.

Riding her new bike outside as soon as she got it.

Doesn't Maddison look excited to take a family picture.

Riding her bike on Christmas day.
I have a feeling I am going to be spending a lot
of time outside from now on.
(wearing her Chargers sweat suit which I'd like
to think helped them win tonight)
:)

tramatic Santa experience

Friday Matt and I tried to take Maddison to go see Santa.
All day I was prepping her for it because I had a hunch
that she would be afraid of him.
I asked her if she wanted to see him...'yes'
I asked her if she was going to sit on his lap...'yes'
I asked her if she was going to ask him for presents...'yes'
I got her dressed all cute and I was saying
we have to get dressed pretty for Santa and she agreed
the whole time and was REALLY excited.
We got to the Mall and I was still asking her the three
questions and she was answering yes and still very excited.
We were walking up and she could see Santa and was
still really excited and at this point I was convinced she
might actually do it. We got in line and when
we were almost up Matt said ok time to get out of
the stroller and go see Santa.
She absolutely refused and started crying! lol
So we got out of line and started walking to the car.
As soon as we walked out the door of the Mall she
started crying and saying she wanted to see Santa!
So we did the exact same thing all over again
and had the same outcome, as soon as it was time
to get out of the stroller she freaked.
So we left without sitting on Santa's lap.

Sooooo...Saturday I decided to try and take her with
Sarah and Brooklyn thinking if Brooklyn was doing
it Maddison would go right along with it.

Well these pictures tell the tale.
LOL

Pretty girls ready to go see Santa

Starting to cry...

Really crying and trying to escape.

So sad but so funny at the same time.

visiting Great Grandma

Thursday we went out to the little Christmas festivities
at my Grandma's place.
Maddison has fun and all the old people
love seeing her.
