*hiccup* excuse me

We taught Maddison to say excuse me when she burps or farts lol. She even says excuse me when other people do one of them. So tonight I made Maddison laugh really hard and she got the hiccups. In between hiccups she said EXCUSE ME! LOL We never taught her that she just assumed that a hiccup was the same as a burp I guess.
*hiccup* excuse me *hiccup* excuse me *hiccup* excuse me... this went on for over a minute. SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!

Halloween!!!

On Halloween we went trick or treating with Sarah and Brooklyn.
Maddison was the cutest little bumble bee!
Brooklyn was a princess.
Maddison did so good.
She said 'trick or treat', 'thank you' and 'buh bye'
at almost every house and at a couple houses
she even buzzed for the people. lol
She carried her hello kitty bag and I
found her the cutest little pink shoes that
happened to match really well.
(i also got a matching pair for baby #2! SO CUTE)
I didn't think until we were already out that
I should have put little pink bows on the
antennas of her costume!

Eating her candy!

making goofy faces as usual.
I can't get a good picture out of this kid to save my life.

Her bag and matching shoes. lol
I actually didn't plan this, it worked out well though.
I bought these shoes a few days ago and she LOVES them.
She wants to wear them constantly.

Fake smile again. lol

Trick or treating with Brooklyn.
I am so glad Maddison is a good hand holder and
doesn't try and run off. That will come in handy
when baby # 2 comes!

Her cute little wings.

Due Date

I had an appointment yesterday at the OB and the baby is still measuring bigger than she should be. Last appointment she was 3 weeks bigger this time she was 2 weeks bigger. The doctor told me she was going to go ahead and schedule my c-section for Jan. 14th! (a week before my actual due date) The Dr. said that I could schedule it sooner, but anything sooner than a week would require that I get an amniocentesis. I have had 2 of these now and they are not fun, so I'm not sure what we are going to do. I also would have to schedule it around my birthday on Jan 10th, I thought for a minute it might be neat to have the same birthday but I think I have changed my mind on that one. lol We will see soon enough what happens! We are getting excited!

Convertible!

We bought a mini-van at the beginning of the year because
they are so roomy and comfortable and we knew that
we would have a second child in the near future and
we didn't want to squeeze them into my tiny car.
Well we soon realized that having that as our only car was
a bad idea because Matt was putting so many miles on
it driving to work and if we didn't get another car
our warranty on the van would be up way before it should...
(not to mention how much gas cost to drive that
far everyday in a huge mini-van!)

So we decided to buy another car...
and Matt wanted something fun since it would
pretty much be just his car.

So he got an Eclipse CONVERTIBLE. lol
I hadn't ever really considered buying a convertible,
but I have to admit it is pretty nice.
MADDISON LOVES IT!
Everyday she tells us she wants to go bye bye in daddy's car.

Excited in the backseat all ready to go.

Hair blowing in the wind!

Baby's room

I haven't posted in a little while because I have been so
busy getting the baby's room ready.
This room used to be our extra bedroom/storage room.
After I cleared it all out we painted over the horrible blue color
that my old roommate painted it...which took primer and 2
coats of white. Then I finally got to the stripes!

This is Maddison's room, so I had to do something
cool for the new baby's room too!

So this is what I did! I really like it.
I still have to put the new baseboards on,
but the painting is done!
(the dark stripe is NAVY not black)

Now its time to shampoo the carpet and then its time to
start filling it with all of her stuff!
I can't wait to get the crib assembled.
I am getting excited!

football

We were watching the football game and I started flipping through the channels and stopped on a movie and then I asked Maddison what she wanted to watch just to see what she would say. She said 'wanna watch football.' LOL I couldn't believe it. She is definitely our kid! Now we just have to teach her to say 'GO CHARGERS!'

Tea party

Jordyn and Camryn got Maddie a Bella tea set for
her birthday and she wont stop playing with it.
I am constantly picking up tea cups and plates. lol
It is so cute to watch her pretend.

Sipping the tea with a spoon?

stacking the cups

eating the cookie lol

and drinking

Ducks!

Friday we went to the park so Maddison could feed the ducks.
She was so excited when she saw all of them.
There were so many stupid pigeons too.
Some of the ducks were very brave and actually ate out of her hand.

more awesome birthday presents

My mom's friend Roxann couldn't make it to Maddie's
party so she sent the present home with my mom
for Maddie to open. SO CUTE!
Maddie LOVES the purse. She puts her barbie keys and phone
in it and says 'gonna go buh bye' and then
goes to the door and turns the handle. lol

Maddie is dirty again! I really am slacking. lol

she also got her this cute little strawberry Hello Kitty.
somehow maddie fits it in her purse too.
she calls it 'little kitty' because it is smaller
than her other two hello kitty's

Peter piper

Friday Matt and I took Maddie to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch.
She had fun playing the games with dad.
I remember this little worm character from
when I was a kid but I can't think of his name...

Maddie and her friends.

Friday night we went over to hang out with Sarah and
Brooklyn. Maddie had a lot of fun with her as usual.
She calls her "Booklyn" LOL
Maddie is wearing her cute "my aunt rocks" shirt

Brooklyn gave her a tattoo with her tattoo pen.
All night Maddie was saying tattoo.

Then they built a fort and played around in it.

peeking around the corner LOL

Thursday we went to Matt's parents and Maddie got
to play with Cammie while Jordyn was in school.
They are so dang cute!
They sat in these cute matching chairs to eat lunch.

Kisses.
(this is the cute panda shirt I bought her at the D.C. Zoo)

sitting on a bike

The other day when we were at Matt's parents house
Maddison wanted to ride Cammie's bike.
She only actually pedaled a couple of times,
she had more fun sitting on the bike.
Of course she had to wear the helmet too, LOL.

(she has a dirty face, which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine,
I hate it when people leave their kids all dirty and disgusting.
But I guess I was just too lazy that day, Sorry)

Chatting

Right now Maddison is talking on her cell phone and she is saying "yeah, yeah, uh huh, uh huh, what are you doing?, yeah, yeah, uh huh". LOL It is SO FUNNY!

6 months

I am 6 months pregnant now. This pregnancy has gone by SO MUCH faster than the first one did. I can't believe it. I haven't even started on the babies room yet. I need to get started painting before I can't move anymore!

cuteness, teeth and talking up a storm

I had to share this picture. It was taken with my phone so it isn't
the best quality, but it is so cute I had to post it.
She loves her 'kitty kitty'.

I was unaware that children get more teeth at about 2?
Maddison developed a fever without any other symptoms
and didn't seem to be sick at all. I was kind of confused.
Sarah said maybe she is getting more teeth, I looked and sure
enough she is getting the very back molars! OUCH!
She ate light for maybe 2 days but wasn't really phased by it.
I can't believe it, it looks like it really hurts!

I can't believe how grown up she is now. The weirdest thing
is talking with her now. She has been a baby for so long and now
she can talk to me and it is just so weird.
I can't believe how fast the talking has progressed.
Last month she had a vocabulary of probably about 100-150
words. Now I can't even count how many she knows because
she will say almost anything I ask her to say
and she somehow remembers them.
Last week she said a 5 word sentence,
I can't for the life of me remember what it was,
but I remember Sarah counting the words.
I just can't believe it. I feel like I am going to wake up tomorrow
and she is going to be in kindergarden.
She is growing up so fast.
